Hector has served as the Buckingham Road Latino minister since May, 2011. Hector was born in Honduras and was raised in a Christian family. From a very young age, he enjoyed ministering to youth and began preaching in his home congregation. He first came to the United States in 1992, then went back to Honduras in 1996. He returned to Texas in 2002. He attended a meeting at the Walnut Hill Church of Christ where he met his future wife, Carmen. The two wed in December, 2009. They are proud parents of Bella and Ricardo. Hector states, “My vocation is a mechanic, but my passion is preaching the gospel.”
